I love this candid type shot, it could well be in the historical archives! I just realised the irony of that comment, as this Deviation is 3yrs old already... Lol
Pity the guy on the right isn't more in frame....
The interaction appears genuine and the gesture so natural, I'm convinced that they weren't aware they were being photographed

this is such a touching picture the way i view it. the man on the left looks significantly older than the boy offering the cigarette... its like.. two generations experiencing gaining comraderie through experience of battle (even if it is a reinactment, thats just the feeling) and sharing a smoke to celebrate that comraderie. i dunno, just what i thought about when i saw it ^^ very nice. you have such a talent for capturing "moments".
